Booking the chair

Booking through blendzbyben.com reserves a specific time with BlendzByBen for the service you selected. By submitting a booking you confirm that the name, phone, and email you provided are yours and you have authority to use them.

We don't take walk-ins outside of posted hours — every guest gets a confirmed slot.

Payment

You can pay at the chair (cash or card on the day) or online via Square at the time of booking. Card payments online are processed by Square — your card data never touches our servers. Pricing shown at booking is the full price for that service; tax is included where applicable.

Cancellations & rescheduling

Free cancellation and rescheduling up to 1 hour before your appointment. Use the manage link in your confirmation text or email — no phone call needed.

Inside the 1 hour window, the slot is yours — to cancel or move it, call or text the shop directly at (805) 558-4444. Repeated no-shows may require a deposit on future bookings.

Online card payments are refunded to the original card within 5-10 business days when you cancel inside the free window.

Refunds

If you're not happy with your cut, tell us before you leave the chair and we'll fix it on the spot at no charge. For service issues raised after the appointment, contact us within 24 hours and we'll work something out.

SMS messaging program

Program: BlendzByBen appointment confirmations and reminders.

Description: Transactional SMS sent to customers who book at blendzbyben.com. Includes booking confirmation, 24-hour reminder, 2-hour reminder, and notices for reschedules or cancellations.

How to opt in: Tick the SMS-consent checkbox on the booking form at blendzbyben.com/book. The checkbox is required and unticked by default — you must explicitly opt in for any booking.

How to opt out: Reply STOPto any message at any time. We'll stop SMS immediately; you'll still get email confirmations.

Message frequency: Approximately 1 to 3 messages per booking.

Carrier disclaimer: Message and data rates may apply. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

Privacy: See our Privacy Policy for how we handle your phone number and message records. We never share your number with third parties for marketing.

Acceptable use

Don't use the booking system to harass, spam, or book under someone else's identity. Bookings made fraudulently or under false details may be cancelled without refund.

Liability

We do our best, but services are provided “as is.” BlendzByBen is not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from website use, missed reminders, SMS delivery issues, or service outages. Nothing in these terms waives any statutory rights you have under California consumer law.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms occasionally. Material changes will be flagged on the booking form. Continuing to book after a change means you accept the updated terms.
